Attraction consists of many components which involves a force that draws people together or may contrast their bond. Reading the text Close encounter

Chapter 3 defines attraction as " a motivational state in which as individual predisposed to think, feel, and usually behave in a positive manner toward another person. There are three main forms of attraction.

The forms are healthy for our wellness and interpersonal communication. One form is the Physical attraction occurring when we are drawn to people's looks from materialism clothing, jewelry and body features like hair, eyes, or body frame. Secondly, social attraction reflects "hanging out", mingling with someone like a friend, co-worker, or family member. Next, we have task attraction, a team work connection to work with that individual (s) to fulfil a goal, plan or task deadline.

Within all these main forms of attraction the interpersonal relationship is established during these types of relationships. Interpersonal communication skills build comfortable bonds to promote quality communication that emerges consistently in the studies of attraction to form warmth. Warmth within the studies was displayed by positive attitude and concern for others. Mostly physical and social attraction potentially led to messages of interpersonal communication. Examples of nonverbal behaviors are smiles, eye contact, and expressing interest. The studies revealed warmth and kindness are clearly the two qualities responsible for all attractions in physical or social environments.
